Salary Range: $65,000.00 per year
Responsibilities- Administers training and certification processes to ensure all employees can operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely and productively.
- Assists the Area Manager in completing periodic performance reviews.
- Provides continual feedback on both positive and negative performance using informal discussions; recommends formal progressive disciplinary action to the Area Manager.
- Prioritizes workload assignments and communicates priorities throughout the shift; works closely with the Team Leader and employees to correct errors and resolve day‑to‑day process problems.
- Provides leadership on the shift and fosters positive employee relations through effective communication.
- Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for building facilities, vehicles and equipment area are addressed and communicated to the Area Manager.
- Actively pursues feedback from employees to identify and resolve process or procedural issues to improve productivity and expedite workflow within the shift.
- Examines and monitors warehouse employees’ work for exactness, neatness and conformance to quality and productivity standards, common practice and procedures; provides mentoring, coaching and suggests training for development of employees and team leaders.
- Exemplifies safe work behaviors and champions safe work practices with all employees.
- Participates in special projects and assignments as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- 1–3 years supervisory/management experience in a materials and logistics environment.
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving, warehouse, inventory and material handling operations, methods and practices.
- Leadership: previously demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Strong computer skills related to Microsoft Office, warehouse and inventory management systems and productivity tracking software.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) and a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to operate and train employees on all equipment associated within a warehousing environment (forklift, deep reach, walkie, RF scanner).
Successful completion of a pre‑employment physical, drug screen and background check are required for all qualified applicants.
