SHIFT: Friday – Sunday 6pm – 7am
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly activities and ensure continuous improvement.
- Inform senior management and client representatives of critical operational issues.
- Develop and maintain systems, procedures, and equipment usage to keep operations safe and profitable.
- Implement and report on cost‐saving initiatives and suggest operational efficiencies.
- Meet client KPIs and comply with quality system requirements.
- Provide coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations, supporting HR in hiring, training, and development.
- Assign daily work schedules based on orders, customer instructions, and available resources.
- Plan space reorganization and adjust staffing or supplies as needed.
- Train new staff and evaluate trainee progress.
- Maintain communication with managers, provide status updates, and hold regular staff meetings for improvement ideas.
- Assist in physical operations as required and deliver results by leveraging the right people at the right time.
- Maintain high motivation and focus on customer satisfaction, providing growth opportunities.
- Support adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and conduct annual performance reviews.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
- At least 1 year supervisory experience.
- Preferred: MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operations.
- Completion of a forklift training program.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with RF scanners and WMS functions.
- Business communication skills.
- Basic to intermediate level for quantity verification, inventory counts, and related tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks timely.
- Good organizational and personnel skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Leadership, supervision, and planning abilities.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast‑paced environment.
- Capability to work at temperatures ranging from mild to moderate throughout the year.
- Walking and standing frequently; constant lifting, pushing, and pulling required.
- Reach above shoulder, squat, or kneel as needed.
Typical warehouse noise levels are low to moderate; exposure to fumes or airborne particles is rare.
