General Transportation Manager responsible for overseeing all transportation operations, asset management, data governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across the regional network.

• Develop and enforce asset management plans, including lifecycle, acquisition, operation, maintenance, and renewal of assets.
• Implement best practices for risk assessment and loss control in truck transportation, and recommend solutions to reduce risks.
• Lead data governance, analytics, and digital innovation initiatives, including data collection, visualization, and AI applications.
• Drive exception management by allocating resources to eliminate disruption opportunities and manage nonvalue-added time.
• Ensure fleet readiness, scheduling, performance evaluation, and preventive maintenance of carriers.
• Apply operational excellence principles, root cause analysis, and standard operating procedures across functions.
• Lead safety compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory program execution at local, state, and federal levels.
• Oversee shipping and transportation planning, including routing, network design, and delivery scheduling.
• Manage vendor relationships, including stakeholder analysis, performance reviews, and supplier strategy.
• Develop and implement workforce and sustainability initiatives, including talent acquisition, mentorship, and community outreach.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 3 years senior management experience in an operations/distribution/supply chain environment.
• Supervisor experience with mentoring, workload management, hiring, and promotion of managers/supervisors.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Finance).
• 4 years senior management experience in operations/distribution/logistics, with budget, P&L, and regulatory compliance skills.
