Position Summary
This position oversees a designated area of responsibility within Walmart logistics, implementing business plans, ensuring productivity, maintaining quality and safety standards, developing associates, and fostering a culture of integrity, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates.
- Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility objectives such as production, quality, and safety.
- Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
- Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, distributing procedures, and providing supporting documentation.
- Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns through listening and consulting, determine corrective actions, and make recommendations to resolve issues.
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, modeling logistics policies and procedures, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation.
- Promote a culture that builds high‑performing teams, embraces differences, and creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
- Build strong, trusting relationships and communicate with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence others.
- Attract, retain, and develop talent, recognizing contributions and accomplishments.
- Act with integrity by maintaining high ethical standards, modeling Walmart values, holding oneself and others accountable, and supporting Walmart’s regenerative goals.
- Serve customers and members by putting the customer first, adapting to how, where, and when they shop, and applying the EDLP/EDLC business models.
- Make data‑driven decisions, balance short‑ and long‑term priorities, and consider all stakeholders when planning.
- Display curiosity, embrace learning, take calculated risks, demonstrate courage, resilience, and encourage learning from mistakes.
- Drive continuous improvements, adopt new technologies and skills, and support others through change.
- Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year supervisory experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, OR 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience, OR 2 years Walmart Logistics experience, OR 2 years supervisory experience.
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Experience supervising associates
- Familiarity with Walmart Logistics Systems
- Background in Business or Logistics studies.
- The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 – $98,000.00.
- Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
- Compensation may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location and stock options.
