Description
Boise Cascade is one of the largest manufacturers of plywood and engineered wood products in North America. We are seeking a Fulfillment Operator to assist in our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, select, and load materials
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently
- Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading
- Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers
- Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily
- Maintain a clean working area
- Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance)
- Perform daily safety checks on forklifts
- Perform basic maintenance on assigned motorized equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years of equivalent experience
- Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
- Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
- Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
- Familiarity with millwork
- Experience utilizing an inventory control scanner (RFN)
- Able to measure and calculate material lengths
- Able to move door slabs up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Able to handle pre-hung units up to 100 pounds
- Work in tandem using safe lifting practices
- High traffic warehouse and shop environment
- Repetitive physical motion
