Position Overview

Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate – Lancaster, TX – Part‑time position serving a logistics and distribution location. Duties include conducting routine patrols, maintaining security presence, and supporting employees and visitors.

$16.82 / Hour

Sat: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Sun: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, reporting unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verifying credentials and/or authorizations in accordance with site policies.
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing package handling areas, trailer yards, and dock operations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
