Carpenter; Lancaster, TX

Overview

Holder Construction is seeking Carpenters for a new project in Lancaster, TX.

• Constructing and maintaining safety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection.
• Perform sawing, stripping, nailing, burning, measuring, tightening/loosening bolts, drilling & other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• 3 years of construction experience.
• Ability to read basic drawings.
• Training on construction safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform (boom and scissor)).
• High school diploma or GED is a plus.
• Strong time management skills.
• Team player; ability to work independently and handle multiple projects with flexibility and meet tight deadlines.

• Agile/mobile, alert, able to stand or walk for long periods.
• Use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects.
• Climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects; work on uneven surfaces/heights.
• Read/write, good vision & hearing.
• Lifting/carrying materials weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, outdoors, overtime and weekend hours. Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
