Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

Join Brass Craft Manufacturing as a Multi‑craft Maintenance Technician and be part of an outstanding team dedicated to continuous improvement and operational excellence. The Multi‑Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and service on all plant equipment. Primarily, this includes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, pneumatics and hydraulics. • Perform preventi‑ve, planned, and unplanned maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment to ensure minimal downtime and efficient performance.
• Program, repair, install, and upgrade Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), primarily Allen Bradley, and use ladder logic to aid in troubleshooting.
• Install, relocate, and remove equipment as necessary.
• Install all pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems.
• Rebuild machines and overhaul components and attachments, involving dismantling, inspection, or replacement.
• Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to detail work and order parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties as needed and assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years’ experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with PLCs and ladder logic.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Understand and comply with company safety standards and federal regulations.
• Be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.

• Electrical certification.
• Associate degree in Industrial or Electronic Technology or Mechatronics.
• 5+ years of industrial electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience.

• Ability to work both independently and interdependently.
• High attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to new methods, tools, techniques, and technologies as they are introduced.
• Time‑management skills to balance multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficiency in print reading, particularly electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Expertise in PLC connectivity and ladder logic.

Hiring Pay
: $28/hr+ (actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills).
