TXM are recruiting on behalf of a leading automation and intralogistics provider to join a brand-new distribution facility in the Lancaster area of Texas. As a Software Operations Engineer, you will use your software and programming experience to ensure that the fast-paced distribution facility runs at full capacity, perform essential maintenance on the facility software, fix bugs, and ensure the software controlling all systems within the facility operates correctly.

- 12.5-hour shifts (5pm – 5:30am) – 2-2-3 (Panama) Schedule. This could be subject to change based on the customer/site needs.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Linux, SQL & Oracle at an operational standard, including running commands and troubleshooting/bug fixing.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++ or Python, with some scripting/coding experience.
- Responsibility for the site's ITIL systems.
- Analyze systems to promote continuous growth with a focus on root cause analysis and machine performance.
- Collaborate with the Logistics Operations Manager to align work with business goals.
- Involvement in process and operational redesign.
- Programming experience in Linux, Java, Oracle, SQL & C++.
- Knowledge of WMS, WCS and SRC.
- Experience in warehousing, distribution/fulfillment, or fast-paced consumer goods environments is preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Continuous improvement of processes with the ability to implement new strategies.
- Eligibility to work in the USA with no visa sponsorship required.
