DSV - - Responsibilities:
Operate an open-deck tractor/trailer in interstate and intrastate commerce following DOT Hours of Service rules;
Safely transport open-deck freight including oversized and irregular cargo;
Properly secure loads using straps, chains, tarps and protective gear;
Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of equipment;
Maintain accurate logs and shipping documentation (bills of lading, permits) and communicate with dispatch
