Responsibilities- Operate MHEs to move, locate, relocate, stack and count inventory; perform related data entry for receipts, shipments, and inventory maintenance.
- Assist the supervisor/manager to ensure the facility complies with quality standards.
- Meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality; comply with corporate and site policies.
- Maintain accurate warehouse inventory and handle direct customer interfaces to respond to questions and resolve issues.
- Return material from customers to factory and transfer material to appropriate areas; relocate material to maintain inventory range and locations.
- Ensure safe use of all equipment and report progress and issues to supervision.
- Maintain records and reports for inventory control and security; conduct physical inventories as required; assist in daily/monthly in-house cycle counts and support shipping/receiving in locating missing items.
- Perform safety audits and report/correct unsafe operations; participate in daily start-up and staff meetings; assist supervision as needed.
- Use PC skills to email and generate reports as required.
- Initiate corrective actions to prevent non-conformities; identify and document problems and suggest solutions; verify implementation of solutions.
- Review/investigate inbound/outbound activities including unloading, checking, stacking, storing, order picking, staging, labeling and loading; notify management when procedures require updates.
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area and perform housekeeping audits as required.
- Assist leadership as needed.
- Work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends as required; participate in cross-training to support multiple departments.
- Work overtime as dictated by business requirements (mandatory or voluntary).

Required Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
- Able to operate MHE.
- Must be able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures; conditions can range from mild to moderate depending on the season.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program

- WMS functions
Language Skills
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
Mathematical Skills
- Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, and perform other duties related to handling, storing, and distributing client products.
Other
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to complete tasks timely.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision; adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
- 1-3 years in an inventory department
- 1-3 years forklift experience
- Current or prior MHE certification
