Specialist, Warehouse

Job Description

• Pick, prepare, and palletize finished goods for shipment, including working overtime as needed to meet daily/weekly shipping goals.
• Operate forklift and other equipment for material movement in the distribution center; complete daily vehicle inspection reports and perform light maintenance (e.g., battery watering) as required.
• Use a handheld RF scanner to execute picking, replenishing, and putting away tasks; ensure precise data entry, verify product details, and record serial numbers to maintain inventory integrity.
• Follow all company and job‑specific procedures, meet facility standards, and adhere to safety instructions for loading/unloading trailers.
• Pick and stack products according to procedure and special instructions, cross‑checking as needed to achieve 100% accuracy.
• Consolidate, process parcel cases, and verify accuracy of received shipments; determine product locations and organize inventory.
• Work independently and proactively, communicating clearly with management and department personnel on key issues regarding returns processing.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices, food and drug guidelines, and drug enforcement laws.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and participate in team activities (e.g., Safety, 5S, Lean).

• Basic math calculation skills.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
• Current forklift certification required; stand‑up forklift preferred.
• Motorized (electric) pallet jack certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of warehousing experience.
• Oracle experience preferred.

• Must be 18 years of age.

• Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time.

• Regularly required to talk or hear while performing duties.
• Must be able to work safely around heavy equipment in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
