A warm, nurturing and well‑resourced day nursery in Warton (near Preston) is seeking an experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their committed and friendly team. The setting provides high‑quality childcare and early education for children aged 0‑5 years, focusing on learning through play, emotional security and individualised development.

About the RoleThis position offers 30‑34 hours per week, with fixed days and hours agreed in advance to support work‑life balance.
You will:
- Support children across the 0‑5 age range
- Deliver high‑quality, play‑based learning experiences
- Carry out observations, planning and assessments
- Build strong partnerships with parents and families
- Ensure that safeguarding, welfare and safety standards are consistently met
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative and caring team environment

What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Have experience working with children aged 0‑5
- Be positive, motivated and nurturing
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
- Be confident contributing ideas and supporting team practice
- Show enthusiasm for supporting the learning and development of every child
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families
- £13.50 per hour and above (depending on experience)
- 30‑34 hours per week
