Gas Engineer

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the private sector.

They require self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing installation contract in the South Lakes area.

All installs are pre-surveyed and booked via an online diary system a minimum of one week in advance.

Various locations across South Wales
Work Type:
Central heating installs including swaps, upgrades, and conversions.
Commitment:
Minimum of set 3 days per week. Up to 5 days available plus optional weekends at enhanced rates
Contract Length:
Ongoing (no end date)
Payment terms:
Weekly one week in arrears.

Rates:

* Combi swap: £298.77 core rate plus extras. Average £350.00 - £400.00

* Conventional swap: £313.65 core rate plus extras. Average £350 - £400.00

* Conventional to Combi Conversion: £ core rate plus extras. Average £500.00 - £550.00

* New Combi System: £646.61 core rate plus extras. Average £700.00 - £800.00

* all extras such as pipework, radiators, TRV’s, flues etc are paid in addition to the core job price. A full rate card containing a full schedule of rates can be provided

Requirements:

* 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer

* ACS Qualifications

* Gas Safe Registered

* Panelled van (plain or sign written)

* Powerflush machine & relevant hand tools

* Access ladders to reach gutter level, an A-frame, and hop up that conforms to BS EN 131 standards.
