SW-GR is recruiting Points Operators for regular weekend shifts in West and North Yorkshire.
Role- Operate and manage railway points safely and efficiently.
- Ensure smooth train movements by monitoring and controlling points.
- Communicate effectively with the site team and train control to maintain safety.
- Maintain accurate records of operations.
- Must have own valid points handles.
- Proven experience as a points operator.
- Strong focus on safety and adherence to railway procedures.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- Flexibility to work weekends, including 10 to 12‑hour shifts.
There are also ad hoc mid‑week shifts available as the programme requires and opportunities for co‑operations work during the mid‑week. Pay is £25 for weekend shifts and £20 for mid‑week shifts. All work is paid under umbrella PAYE.
