Commercial Laundry Engineer

Good opportunities to work for a nationwide, commercial laundry company that is going through some great expansion these past few years. After a number of company acquisitions they are looking to strengthen their position to be able to provide a quality service to its clients. They have been running over 20 years and can count some very well known companies as clients.

• Providing service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment – commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble driers, rotary irons, finishing machines, dishwashers and some dosing machines
• Working on electrical and gas fired commercial laundry equipment
• Covering the CA and LA postcodes
• Working with clients such as nursing homes, hospitals, offices, holiday parks, hotels

• Experience with in commercial laundry equipment would be beneficial but is not essential
• Existing domestic or commercial gas certificates; if none, training will be provided
• Experience working on commercial catering equipment or commercial dishwashers is a plus
• Residency in or around the LA or CA postcode area on the Scottish borders
• Good electrical competency

• 38k basic if you have any gas certificates
• 35k basic if you don’t have gas certs but have relevant electrical industry experience
• Door to door travel pay
• 2k annual performance bonus paid on a quarterly basis
• Van and phone provided
• Overtime available
• Call out rota for 1 weekend in 5
• 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
• Great further training on gas laundry equipment
