Evening Truck Mechanic at American Iron & Metal

Join American Iron & Metal as an Evening Truck Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy vehicles. Your skills in diagnosing and fixing equipment will be valuable during evening shifts.

This permanent full-time role requires a DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics and at least two years of experience. You will work Monday to Thursday from 2:30 PM to 1:30 AM, focusing on troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Your expertise will ensure the efficiency and safety of our operations while collaborating with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose heavy vehicles and mobile equipment

• Perform preventive and corrective inspections

• Identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

• Conduct functional tests to verify equipment operation

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance

Requirements:

• DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent

• Minimum two years of relevant experience

• Proficient in hydraulic and electrical systems

• Computer diagnostic tool expertise

• Valid driver’s license and PEP card
