Within EY‑P, our Strategy&Execution group provides a full range of strategic consulting services including corporate and growth strategy, M&A integrations, separations, transformations, Private Equity value creation, Operational/HR/IT Due Diligence, and Operational Restructuring. Our Strategy&Execution team works cross‑functionally and across the entire transaction lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
  • Work on integrations, carve‑outs, corporate restructuring and other types of M&A transactional engagements in project teams directly with clients.
  • Be exposed to a variety of industries (e.g., life‑science, consumer products and retail, industrial products) and functional areas (e.g., finance, supply chain, HR, IT, legal).
  • Handle a wide range of strategy and M&A transactional topics such as IT/operational due diligence, operating model design, integration/separation blueprint design, exit readiness, day‑1/100 readiness, synergy assessment, transitional service agreement (TSA).
  • Gather, analyze information and communicate recommendations to a member of the team or a client.
  • Work alongside the client on planning and executing any topics of an M&A deal lifecycle and in collaboration with the wider project team.
  • Help build an open and inclusive work environment and support the maintenance of professional relationships with our clients.
What We Look For
  • A completed business or STEM degree.
  • At least 3 years of applicable industry and/or consulting full‑time professional experience post‑university studies, ideally within the M&A deal lifecycle (Operations, Supply Chain, Finance function, IT, HR and/or performance improvement).
  • A strong record of leadership, sharp analytical thinking and exceptional problem‑solving skills in an academic, professional or extracurricular setting.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing, in English. Additional fluency in German, French and/or Italian preferred.
  • Solid project management skills, client‑oriented attitude and ability and willingness to travel to the client site.
  • Readiness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Familiarity with GenAI and Agentic AI models and their use on research and data analysis.
  • A strong team‑player mentality to proactively drive solutions within highly motivated and diverse teams across functions, countries and regions.
