FREMONT COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE IS NOW HIRING!!

Full Time – Starting Pay: $37,000 annually

• Work Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Off on Holidays
• Excellent Health Insurance paid approximately 85% by the County. Includes dental and vision.
• Excellent State Pension Plan. County pays 12.50% of an 18.62% pension plan.
• Vacation and Sick leave

Job duties to include but not limited to office work in a fast paced environment in the Election Office within the Clerk’s office. Quickly learn proprietary computer programs and machines. Process Fremont County candidate applications and reports. Prepare and balance different reports throughout election year. Process voter registrations, absentee voters, work on arranging election judges, prepare documentation, supplies and work at vote centers on Election Days.

Some overtime will be required.

• Excellent written, proofing, grammar and oral communication skills.
• Quick learner
• Flexibility in job duties.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Above average computer knowledge is required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more if required.
• Proficiency tests may be required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Knowledge and interest in election related processes is helpful.
