Cardiac Telemetry Monitor

Each offers a wide range of healthcare services, including inpatient medical services, emergency room services, surgical services, imaging services, laboratory diagnostic services, primary care, infusion services, and women's health.
Provides continuous surveillance of cardiac telemetry monitors to identify and report significant changes in cardiac rhythms. Supports patient safety and clinical communication in centralized monitoring environments.
Essential Functions
- Continuously observe and interpret cardiac rhythms from telemetry monitors.
- Record rhythm strips at designated intervals and notify nursing staff of changes.
- Maintain monitor station cleanliness and function; report equipment issues.
- Document rhythm interpretations and maintain accurate logbooks.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with unit nursing staff.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations
- Ability to interpret dysrhythmias accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Able to multitask and respond calmly in emergencies.
- Proficient in EMR systems and basic computer functions.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent including education equivalent to completion of secondary school or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role. (Preferred)
Licenses/Certifications
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire or within facility-specified time frame (Required)
