Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary Services to both inpatients and outpatients while adhering to protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies. This role requires expertise in delivering diagnostic and therapeutic services efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain patient airways and manage ventilator use.
• Perform intubations and insert arterial lines.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.
• Manage blood gas analyses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have NBRC RRT certification.
• Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Experience working with pediatrics and OB patients.
• Must possess a current WY RT license.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association).
