Requirements- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Women’s Services
- Experience in Level I Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN, and L&D/LDRP required
- Experience with antepartum, triage, labor & delivery, and postpartum care required
- ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- NRP certification required
- STABLE certification required
- AWHONN certification required
- Active Wyoming RN license or Compact RN license required
Shift Type = Nights
Shift Hours = 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Assignment Length = 13 Weeks (03/09/2026 – 05/10/2026)
On-Call = None specified
Weekends = As required by department
Float Requirement = May float as helping hands or sitter based on census
Patient Ratio = Per unit standard
Unit Type = Women’s Services (L&D / Postpartum / Nursery / OB-GYN)
Snap Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Women’s Services Registered Nurse to join the team at Sage West Health Care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Level I Nursery, OB/GYN, and antepartum units. Responsibilities include circulating during C-sections, assisting with deliveries, providing neonatal assessment and stabilization, and delivering high-quality postpartum and surgical recovery care.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, confident in fetal monitoring, and committed to supporting mothers, newborns, and families throughout their care journey.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Women’s Services RN experience
- Experience in OB triage, antepartum, postpartum, L&D, and Level I Nursery
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications (AHA required)
- Active Wyoming RN license or Compact RN license
- Experience circulating C-sections and assisting with deliveries
- Neonatal assessment and stabilization skills
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to float as needed based on census
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status
- Circulate during C-sections and assist with vaginal deliveries
- Provide newborn assessment and immediate post-delivery care
- Care for postpartum and post-operative OB/GYN patients
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately and communicate changes promptly
