Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wyoming license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program:
Health Trust Program - Scion Health.

Unit Details:
Provides direct and individualized nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients. Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Prepares and administers oral, subcutaneous, and IV medications and reports adverse reactions in accordance with policy. Records patients’ medical information and vital signs; monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients;
interprets and records electronic displays; and initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology. Provides patient education on surgical procedures, post-treatment home care needs, and illness/injury management. Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs, prepares equipment, aids physicians during examination and treatment, responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol, and participates in discharge planning.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
