Job Description

The Registered Nurse will perform interventions as part of the patient care plan, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while monitoring and communicating patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines for patient care coordination, including transfers and discharges.
• Evaluate learning needs and provide education to patients and families tailored to their conditions.
• Advocate for the emotional and physical well-being of patients.
• Circulate during C-sections and assist physicians as needed during deliveries.
• Attend to neonates post-delivery and follow recovery protocols for surgical patients.
• Participate in mandatory certification classes and maintain required credentials.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE & AWHONN certifications.
• Must hold a WY RN or multi-state RN license.
• 2 years of recent RN experience in Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN & L&D/LDRP.
• Experience in care for OB/GYN patients, antepartum care, triage, labor and delivery, and postpartum care is required.
