Must-Have:
- 2 years of recent RN experience in relevant specialties
- Ability to float to another unit as needed
Description:
Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
Appropriately assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families and provides education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Circulates during C-sections and assists during deliveries as needed.
Follows appropriate policies for the recovery and care of surgical patients.
Attends fetal monitoring certification classes every two years.
Stays current with NRP certification.
Identifies necessary information to communicate to physicians and patients.
