Description:
The Registered Nurse will hold accountability for providing care to emergency room patients by utilizing the nursing process in accordance with state practice acts and hospital policies and procedures.
The Registered Nurse will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the safe delivery of patient care in the emergency department.
The role involves maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff, and providing direction and supervision for those delivering patient care.
