Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers, including flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain while maintaining a safe driving record.
- Stock ingredients from deliveries to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
- Perform outside tasks such as trash removal.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Ability to read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes.
- Accurate math skills and ability to make correct monetary change.
- Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch‑screen.
- Basic computer skills.
- Stand for most tasks; walk on surfaces such as tile or linoleum; typical standing height between 36 and 48 inches.
- Walk short distances between the store and delivery vehicle, and to customer locations.
- Sit when completing paperwork in an office setting.
- Lifting: handle cases of ingredients and supplies up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3 ft × 1.5 ft; stack up to 72 inches high.
- Carry: large cans (~3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (~30 lb), trays of pizza dough (~12 lb each).
- Pushing and pulling: move trays on dollies (24–30 inches wide); push up to 7.5 lb.
- Climbing: navigate stairs or ladders; five or more flights may be required during delivery.
- Stooping and bending: frequent at assembly station and front counter.
- Crouch or squat occasionally while stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.
- Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination required for manipulating pizza peel, rolling cutter, and cardboard box assembly.
- Exposure to varying and adverse weather when performing outside tasks.
- Work inside temperatures ranging from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or higher in other areas.
- Potential sudden temperature changes in work area and outdoors.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, fumes, and hot surfaces up to 500 °F during oven use.
- Work in cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
