Tim Hortons in Langford, BC is hiring a full-time Baker at their 840-2945 Jacklin Road location. This is a shift-based role in a fast-paced bake shop and café environment.
Work Setting: Bake shop, Café
Responsibilities:
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Prepare special orders
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Supervise 1–2 baking personnel and kitchen staff
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Ensure product quality meets established standards
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Operate baking machinery
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
Food Specialties: Breads and rolls, Desserts and pastries, Donuts and muffins
Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, work under pressure.
Requirements:
- Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years - Education:
No degree, certificate or diploma required - Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Accurate, dependable, reliable, team player, client-focused, good judgement
