Welder

Position: Full-Time Welder
Become a skilled Welder at a commercial and residential setting in Langford, BC. This full-time role focuses on interpreting welding specifications and operating various welding equipment.

This position requires you to have at least one year of welding experience, including oxy-acetylene, shielded metal arc, and plasma arc welding. You will read and interpret blueprints and ensure welds meet industry standards. Additionally, you will be working with cutting equipment and performing minor machine repairs, making a significant impact on the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret welding process specifications to ensure quality

• Operate semi-automatic and automated welding equipment

• Read welding blueprints and drawings accurately

• Examine welds to meet required specifications

• Perform custom fabrication and machine maintenance

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of welding experience

• Proficiency in oxy-acetylene, SMAW, and PAW techniques

• Experience in brazing and soldering processes

• Ability to handle loads up to 50 lbs

• High school graduation certificate
