Step into a full-time role as a Lead Hand Tilesetter, with travel across Canada. This position offers competitive pay while overseeing tile installation, supervision, and intricate designs.
We are seeking a dedicated Lead Hand Tilesetter to manage projects on the road. Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of tiling experience, a secondary school diploma, and must be authorized to work in Canada. Your work will involve preparing surfaces, cutting tiles, and ensuring the alignment and quality of installations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces by measuring and marking accurately
• Mix and apply mortar and adhesives skillfully
• Supervise and guide other workers during projects
• Lay and set mosaic and decorative tiles effectively
• Cut tiles around obstacles using power tools
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in tiling or related trades
• Secondary school graduation certificate
• Authorization to work in Canada
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to estimate materials and costs
