Carpenter Position at Shoreline Drywall

Join Shoreline Drywall Ltd. in Langford, BC as a skilled Carpenter. This full-time role requires expertise in reading blueprints and constructing wooden structures on-site.

The Carpentry position involves preparation of layouts, measuring and cutting materials, and supervising other workers. A minimum of two years of experience is necessary for building foundations, installing window systems, and maintaining structures in various settings. Your attention to building codes and safety will be paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and sketches for project requirements

• Measure, cut, and join various materials accurately

• Build foundations and install floors and walls

• Fit and install windows, doors, and stairs

• Supervise and assist other workers as needed

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation certificate required

• 2 to 3 years of carpentry experience needed

• Authorized to work in Canada

• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety practices

• Must work on-site; remote work not available
