Under the guidance of the Assistant Controller, you will engage in various responsibilities, from processing invoices to assisting with routine accounting activities. Your organizational skills will be critical as you handle important compliance tasks and manage diverse office functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, ensuring that all tasks are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage online banking and payment approvals
• Reconcile accounts payable and corporate statements
• Prepare required sales tax filings and reports
• Sort and manage incoming and outgoing communications
• Assist with onboarding new team members
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education in finance or business
• Prior experience in an accounting, administrative role
• Proficiency with Excel and communication tools
• Strong attention to detail and urgency in tasks
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
