Enhance customer service and administration support as an Auxiliary Support Clerk for the Township of Langley. This role requires detail-oriented individuals with flexible schedules to manage clerical tasks effectively.
The Township of Langley is seeking up to five auxiliary Support Clerks to assist the Engineering Division. Reporting directly to the Manager of Administration and Business Services, you will address work overload and relieve short-term demands. This position is perfect for candidates who have a strong commitment to customer service alongside clerical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and distribute engineering permit applications
• Respond to enquiries and complaints via phone, email, and in person
• Support various tasks in the Engineering Division
• Maintain and update electronic and manual records
• Perform related clerical duties as needed
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion with commercial/accounting courses
• Experience in a municipal or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of engineering permit regulations
• Familiarity with records management and business support
• Effective communication with public and internal contacts
Contribute to the success of the Engineering Division by providing excellent administrative support as a Support Clerk.
