Position: Clerk for Scheduling

As a Portfolio Clerk, you will assist in managing staff scheduling for short and long-term vacancies. This position requires effective communication with staff and adherence to collective agreements. Candidates will demonstrate problem-solving capabilities and a collaborative spirit while performing clerical tasks essential to operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage scheduling for staffing needs and vacancies

• Perform timekeeping and payroll coding accurately

• Maintain staff records and schedules efficiently

• Process vacation and leave of absence requests

• Answer telephones and respond to inquiries promptly

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and relevant certification preferred

• 2-3 years of scheduling experience in a unionized environment

• Familiarity with Kronos ESP is an asset

• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
