Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager, Retail Banking to join our team.
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for owning and growing an assigned product portfolio. This role develops and executes product strategies, implements marketing and sales campaigns, and leads product development initiatives to drive member value and achieve business performance targets. Working closely with partners across Strategy, Marketing, Member Experience, Finance, IT, and Risk, the Senior Product Manager transforms business strategies into actionable roadmaps, delivering solutions that are competitive, compliant, and aligned with enterprise priorities.
Drawing on strong market insight, analytical capability, and cross functional leadership, the Senior Product Manager ensures the portfolio meets growth, profitability, and member engagement objectives, consistent with responsibilities outlined in your existing product management roles.
Here’s what would be included as a part of your typical day
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership:
Provides leadership and direction to a team of analysts, including coaching, training and development, establishing annual goals, completing performance management processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Serves as the subject matter expert for the assigned portfolio, ensuring product interests are clearly represented in cross-functional projects. Prepares and presents materials to leadership, committees, and project teams. Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external partners to advance product objectives.
Portfolio Growth & Performance :
Develops and implements strategies and tactics to drive growth within an assigned product portfolio, ensuring sales, revenue, and member engagement objectives are achieved. Continuously monitors portfolio performance through the preparation and analysis of monthly dashboards—including OKRs and profit and loss statements—with proactive recommendations provided to address gaps or leverage emerging opportunities. Leads targeted campaigns in close collaboration with Marketing, Member Experience, and regional teams to support acquisition, deepen member engagement, and enhance retention.
Product Strategy & Planning:
Conducts research on market trends, competitors, and member needs to pinpoint opportunities for growth and value creation. Uses these insights to refine product strategies, recommend pricing adjustments, and update multi-year portfolio plans. Contributes portfolio analysis and recommendations to support enterprise strategic planning.
Product Development &
Innovation: Leads the complete development cycle for new products, enhancements, and features by preparing business cases, defining requirements, and coordinating implementation. Works within agile or hybrid frameworks to set feature priorities, validate concepts, and support testing and product launch. Collaborates closely with technology, digital, design, and operations teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and member-focused solutions.
Go ‑ to ‑ Market & Campaign Execution:
Develops clear go‑to‑market plans for new product launches and enhancements by defining the value proposition, positioning, and pricing. Ensures launch readiness through close coordination with Marketing, Communications, Distribution, and Operations teams. Monitors and reports on campaign results and provide actionable recommendations to improve future initiatives.
Product Lifecycle Management:
Manages all stages of the product lifecycle for assigned portfolio, from initial concept through launch, ongoing improvement, and eventual retirement. Ensures product documentation, governance, and compliance are consistently maintained at each phase. Works closely with teams such as Strategy, Pricing, Marketing, Risk, and Compliance to guarantee products meet regulatory and business standards.
