Reporting within the Finance Division, you will play a crucial role in overseeing purchasing operations while providing valuable insights and recommendations regarding policies and standards. A successful candidate will bring proven expertise in procurement and a collaborative attitude for community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily functions of purchasing and stores operations
• Evaluate supplier performance and procurement processes
• Prepare and manage competitive bid documentation
• Assist in contract preparation and negotiations
• Participate in tender openings and public meetings
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and recognized Supply Chain Management training
• In-depth knowledge of purchasing policies and practices
• Strong ability in contract negotiation and monitoring
• Experience in competitive bidding considered an asset
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License required
