Position: Controller Role BC
Drive financial operations and reporting at Horizon Contracting Group, Langley, British Columbia. The Controller position prioritizes month-end closures, compliance, and innovative automation strategies.

As a key member of the Finance team, the Controller will work closely with the Director of Finance on managing end-of-month financial closes and delivering comprehensive financial insights. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for finance technologies and processes aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly close process across all entities

• Generate financial statements and performance analyses

• Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting

• Maintain internal controls and tax schedules

• Lead initiatives for financial automation and AI integration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Finance or related field

• 4-6 years accounting experience with month-end ownership

• Familiarity with GAAP and ASPE

• Proficient in financial modeling using Excel

• Strong interest in process enhancement and technology
