Reporting to the Ownership Group, the Vice President, Operations is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the multi-location dealership group. This key executive oversees dealership performance across sales, fixed operations, finance, customer experience, and operational efficiency to ensure profitability, growth, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. The Vice President, Operations partners closely with Dealer Principals, General Managers, OEM representatives and executive leadership to drive operational excellence, performance accountability, and a high-performing culture across all dealership locations.
This executive role will help position Trotman Auto Group for continued operational excellence while preserving the entrepreneurial culture and values that have contributed to the organization’s long-term success.
The ideal candidate is a high-performing President, COO, Vice President, Operations or senior executive with significant P&L accountability and experience within a multi-rooftop automotive retail or a related dealership environment, where they manage organizational growth, operational improvement, and performance accountability. Armed with a highly collaborative and inspiring people leadership style, this executive leads with respect, accountability, humility, and believes that a strong culture is critical to long-term business success.
This role is ideally suited to a self-motivated leader who enjoys working in a highly entrepreneurial environment where they have improved business processes, bettered financial performance, and elevated culture.
This role is based in Langley, British Columbia, with regular travel across dealership locations. In accordance with BC’s Pay Transparency Act, the expected salary range for this role is $300k to 400k plus generous performance bonuses.
