BC Dairy Director of Producer Engagement

Shape the future of BC Dairy as the Director of Producer Engagement, focusing on strategic leadership and producer services. This role combines in-office work with travel across British Columbia.

You will drive producer-focused initiatives as a direct liaison for BC Dairy, working closely with farmers and stakeholders to deliver impactful services. Your leadership will extend to overseeing programs that support sustainability and emergency preparedness across the province. Engage diverse audiences and lead strategic discussions in the dairy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for producer services

• Foster team development and high-performance culture

• Manage effective producer communications and assistance

• Lead education workshops and knowledge exchange activities

• Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive leadership in agriculture, ideally dairy

• Proven experience in stakeholder collaboration and management

• Background in research and sustainability practices

• Strong judgment, diplomacy, and operational skills

• Valid driver's license for travel throughout the region
