What a typical workday looks like
With the support of your manager, you will be responsible for making sure the store runs smoothly and that your team provides the best possible customer service. When you’re working as acting manager, your tasks will include meeting overall goals, maintaining corporate standards, and motivating your team to excel.
Sales
Optimize the performance and profitability of your store with the support of your management team
Train your team members to provide strong customer support—teach them the best sales techniques and ensure familiarity with all product features
Analyze sales results with your manager and devise innovative solutions for improvement
Schedule employees based on performance to manage payroll cost-effectively
Communicate sales goals to your team to ensure you meet and exceed them
Provide customers with a warm welcome and help them find everything they’re looking for—answer questions, explain products (quality, materials, technical features)
Coordinate tasks with the management team and ensure smooth operation when they’re not there
Human Resources
Mobilize your team and create a positive work environment that fosters pursuit of excellence, while instilling pride and belonging in La Vie en Rose team
Bring vision, mission, and brand culture to life on the job and share with your team
Demonstrate leadership and act as an inspiring role model at all times
Build a high-performance team—recruit, prepare, and train next generation employees, and source best candidates for various roles
Plan work schedules and communicate them while managing absences and lateness
Participate in performance evaluations for entire store team
Schedule team members based on performance and in-store traffic
Marketing and Visual Presentation
Master knowledge of all products and their technical features
Create an attractive and inviting store based on planograms with team
Keep finger on pulse of market trends and competitors
Help build steady and loyal customer base by showcasing brand image and building relationships
Help plan incoming orders and set up visual displays efficiently
Help maintain look and cleanliness of store and back store
Collaborate with mall administration
Administration
Analyze reports to optimize productivity and sales
Open and close the store
Manage all controllable expenses efficiently
Respect and apply policies and procedures of various head office departments (training will be provided)
Perform other duties where needed to support the team
Permanent, full time
Annual Salary: 41,600 $ - 46,800 $
