Program
This position is part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program. Applicants must be between 16 and 30 years of age, legally entitled to work in Canada (must have a valid Social Insurance Number), and be able to work 35-40 hours per week for roughly 6-8 weeks with the potential to extend the contract duration.
Opportunity
This opportunity involves:
Community relations and Sales – Going door‑to‑door in residential neighborhoods, building relationships with prospective clients and educating them about our services.
Company Knowledge – Must learn and understand company’s policies, procedures, and processes to effectively represent the company.
Memorize and understand how to explain our various services offered. After identifying a potential client’s type of project, should be able to use their breadth of company knowledge to engage in discussion.
General Responsibilities
Community relations
Assist with lead management
Informing various neighbourhoods of projects in the area
Learn photography of site projects
Learn photo and video editing
Learn social media and website development
Organization of media
Assist Marketing Manager in numerous other capacities
Assist the Administration department with tasks as needed such as data entry, filing, scanning, and shredding documents
Qualifications
Must have a valid BC Driver’s License & a reliable vehicle
Strong communication and relationship building skills – Must be a people person and able to engage in conversation easily with others.
Customer Service skills and experience
Strong desire to learn and grow with the company
Professional image and fun attitude – Must appear neat, professional, and in company clothing to best represent our company.
Adaptability – Must be adaptable in talking to different types of people and areas.
Compensation
$20+ per hour.
Status
Full‑time Temporary with the potential to become a permanent position
