Role Overview
Match Box Consulting Group is partnering with a growing and established service provider in the waste management and site services sector to fill an Outside Sales Representative position for the Lower Mainland. This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and creating long‑term customer partnerships. The successful candidate will develop business across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, working with contractors, developers, property managers, industrial operators, and commercial clients.

The Opportunity
This is a true business development role focused on identifying opportunities, winning new accounts, and growing recurring service revenue. You'll spend the majority of your time in the market meeting customers, prospecting new business, and building a strong network within the construction, industrial, and property sectors.
Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
Build relationships with contractors, developers, property managers, industrial operators, and commercial customers.
Generate new revenue through prospecting, networking, referrals, and customer visits.
Identify upcoming projects, contract opportunities, and service requirements.
Conduct site visits, customer meetings, and presentations.
Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Negotiate service agreements and secure new contracts.
Work closely with operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Track sales activities and customer interactions through CRM systems.
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, territory sales, or account management.
Proven ability to generate new business and grow customer relationships.
Experience selling into construction, industrial, commercial, property management, or service‑based markets is preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and manage a territory.
Comfortable with cold outreach, prospecting, and field‑based sales activity.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the Lower Mainland.
