Applewood Auto Group is building a dedicated private acquisition channel to purchase vehicles directly from consumers across British Columbia. This role is for someone who knows how to find opportunities, appraise accurately, and close decisively.
If you can identify value in the market and execute with discipline, this is a high-impact role with real earning potential.
This is an Independent Contractor role; applicants must operate as an incorporated business or sole proprietor, maintain a valid GST registration, and are responsible for their own taxes, remittances, and statutory obligations.
What You Will Do   Source vehicles directly from private sellers (Marketplace, Auto Trader, referrals, service drive, orphan owners)
Proactively reach out to sellers and set appointments daily
Appraise vehicles using live market data and internal tools
Negotiate and close purchases in person and remotely
Work closely with our centralized inventory team to align on pricing and acquisition strategy
Acquire vehicles that meet strict profitability and aging targets
What You Bring   Proven ability to negotiate and close
Strong understanding of vehicle valuation and market pricing (or the ability to learn quickly)
High level of urgency, competitiveness, and self-motivation
Comfort operating independently in a performance-driven environment
Strong organization and follow-up discipline
Compensation Structure   Competitive Base Commission
Per Vehicle Bonus
Performance incentives tied to sales volume and inventory aging
On-target earnings: $100,000+. Top performers will exceed this through consistent execution and strong buying discipline. The Contractor can expect to make $60,000 - $100,000+.
