Field Core Logger Geologist

Position: Field Core Logger Geologist Role
Advance your career in geology as a Core Logger-Geologist with Geominex Consultants, based in beautiful British Columbia. This role focuses on logging and sampling in exploration projects.

Offering a 3-6 month contract, you will work closely with the Project Manager and geologists to log drill core and monitor progress. Your responsibility will include ensuring data accuracy and contributing to geological analysis. Expect a supportive environment among a team of experts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Log and sample diamond drill core accurately

• Monitor and manage drill site operations

• Assist in technical reporting and geological mapping

• Uphold safety and quality standards on-site

• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members

Requirements:

• Completed or near-completed

B.Sc. degree in geology

• 1-4 years experience in exploration roles focusing on core logging

• Knowledge of geological mapping and GIS software

• Ability to work independently in remote locations

• Valid driver’s license and work authorization in Canada
