Become an Environmental Biologist with McElhanney, based in Langley, BC. Deliver sustainable environmental solutions while leading innovative projects across multiple sectors.
In this intermediate role, you’ll take on project leadership by providing technical expertise and driving client relationships. Your responsibilities include managing project scopes and timelines while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Engage in collaborative efforts with Indigenous Nations and local authorities to create impactful ecological solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead environmental projects including assessments and reporting
• Oversee management of budgets and client interactions
• Coordinate permitting and regulatory approvals
• Support business development through proposal preparations
• Mentor younger staff members within project teams
Requirements:
• 6+ years in environmental consulting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecological Restoration, or related field
• Active R.P.Bio. or R.B.Tech. is required
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects
