Join McElhanney’s Langley, BC office as a Senior Environmental Biologist. Your maturity and expertise will guide diverse environmental projects and mentor the next generation of professionals.
In this role, you will manage environmental assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective solutions balancing regulatory and ecological needs. You’ll lead relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies and Indigenous partners, advancing project objectives through your leadership. Additionally, support business initiatives by identifying opportunities and preparing proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead environmental assessments and project management
• Coordinate permits and regulatory compliance efforts
• Build relationships with clients and Indigenous Nations
• Mentor junior staff on project tasks
• Contribute to business development through proposals
Requirements:
• At least 6 years of relevant consulting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• R.P.Bio. or R.B.Tech. designation preferred
• Proven project management and communication skills
• Valid BC Driver's License required
