Experienced Lead Carpenter

Summary
The primary responsibility for the Lead Carpenter is to support the Construction Manager as requested to keep the project moving forward.

Qualifications

Healthy & physically fit

Own PPE and personal tools

Have your own vehicle and a valid BC Driver’s License to travel across the lower mainland

Clear communication in English and able to follow instructions

Minimum 10 years of Residential Renovation or New Construction experience

Red Seal Carpentry Ticket (or able to challenge)

General Responsibilities

Follow site safety rules.

Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and safely – forming, framing, finishing, door and window install, clean up, and other various carpentry tasks.

Electrical/painting/plumbing/drywall are all subcontracted out but you need a general understanding of these trades and how they work together in a “house as a system.”

Read site drawings.
