Key Responsibilities
Pouring, screeding, and finishing various types of concrete
Safely and effectively using a variety of tools and equipment as trained and required
Applying a range of concrete finishing techniques, including trowel, broom, stamped, and exposed aggregate
Operating power trowels and finishing equipment
Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials
Placing and tying rebar
Supporting form carpenters in building forms for benches, sidewalks, walls, and other concrete structures
Performing basic maintenance to ensure tools and equipment remain in good working conditionj
Maintaining strong working relationships with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
Participating in company-required training and performance reviews
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of concrete finishing experience
Proficient in operating power trowels
Skilled in decorative and architectural concrete techniques, including various finishes and applications
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
Ability to frequently lift 30–85 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly wage of $37–$45, depending on experience
Overtime opportunities available

The pay range for this role is:
37 - 45 CAD per hour (Horizon Contracting Group (Head Office))
