- Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years - Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years - or equivalent experience Tasks
- Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment
- Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software
- Determine nature, cause and location of trouble
- Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures
- Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems Personal suitability
