OVERVIEW:
Cascadia Windows & Doors is an innovative, industry-leading manufacturer that creates beautifully designed fiberglass windows, doors, and cladding support systems. Included in some of the most exciting and award-winning construction projects across North America, Cascadia’s goal is to help revolutionize the energy efficiency of modern buildings and drive the adoption of high-performance building products.

The Window Installer is responsible for installing Cascadia’s high-performance windows and doors throughout the Greater Vancouver Area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Construction experience and knowledge of installation practices for windows & doors.
• 1-3 years of window and door installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience caulking, sheathing & detailing building envelopes.
• Able to read blueprints and work order specifications.
• Comfortable working with heights and scaffolding.
• honest, reliable, professional, and a problem solver.
• Positive attitude and the ability to take direction.
• Self-motivated and proud of workmanship.
• Open to a background check.

GENERAL LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine layout and installation procedures.
• Measure and mark guidelines for installation.
• Installation of high-performance windows and doors.
• Meticulous foaming and caulking.
• Envelope detailing, in keeping with modern best practices.
• General labour, as required.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: $25.00 - $27.00/hour
• 100% company-paid extended benefits package after 3 months.
• RRSP program after 2 years.
